1. Minecraft for Xbox One

Original Minecraft is available on Xbox One and Xbox 360. Both versions of original Minecraft support online multiplayer, and Xbox Live cross-platform play with Windows 10, iOS, and Android devices are also supported. The game was released on the Xbox One on September 5, 2014.

Minecraft is also available to play in Chinese through a free update that was released on June 20, 2016 (and it can also be played in English), and as of November 2017, it has over 500 million downloads worldwide.[citation needed] On December 17th, 2018 an update was added allowing Minecraft players to play split-screen up to four players at once.

2. Minecraft for Playstation 4

On PlayStation 4, you can use your existing PSN account to play online with friends or create a free Xbox Live account on your console.

  • Multiplayer servers are available for the Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, and Console Edition (this is the one you’re reading about right now). You can play with up to 8 other people online or 4 if you’re playing split-screen (if you’re playing with your friends in person). If they have a different platform than you do, no worries! You can still play together.

5. Minecraft for Playstation

Many of the new features that have been incorporated in the PS3 version are also similar to the Xbox 360 version, including a large number of skins, textures, and worlds that can be downloaded from the Internet. The “Natural Texture Pack” is available for free on every platform.

The game has also been confirmed for Playstation 4. There is no word on Playstation Vita compatibility as of yet.

6. Minecraft Bedrock Edition

The bedrock edition of Minecraft (also known as the Bedrock Engine) has been the codebase that powers the iPhone, Android, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows 10 versions of Minecraft since 2012. It is also known as “Minecraft Pocket Edition” or “Minecraft Console Edition”, and used to be called the “Xbox Live Enabled version”.

More recently, Mojang released a version of Bedrock on Windows 10 alongside Java Edition which allows cross-platform play with mobile devices. This Minecraft version is free to download for anyone who owns the Java Edition.

7. Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta

Windows 10 Edition Beta was released on July 29, 2015.

It is a version of Minecraft which is written in C++ and supports features that let Minecraft play nicer on modern operating systems and hardware, as well as adding some gameplay features. The beta is only available for the Windows 10 operating system. The game is not finished, but it can be downloaded and played by anyone who owns a copy of Minecraft: Pocket Edition. Minecraft Education Edition is available for Windows, Mac, and iPad devices. It is currently used in many schools as a teaching tool across the world. This version of Minecraft editions has been specifically designed to help teachers teach students certain subjects or skills through the game’s digital worlds.

Teachers can use this app to plan learning activities, which they can then assign to students when they are learning at home or in the classroom. These activities allow students to take on challenges alone or with their friends.

9. Minecraft Android Edition

We can also say this mobile. Original Minecraft for Android is available for devices running Android 4.2 or higher. Devices will need at least 1 GB of RAM, a CPU that runs at 1.0 GHz or more, and OpenGL ES 2.0 graphics to run the game. You will also need at least 400 MB of storage available on your device to play Minecraft.

10. Minecraft iOS Edition

11. Minecraft Java Edition

12. Minecraft Windows Phone Edition

Windows Phone Edition was the former Pocket Edition for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. It was released on October 7, 2014, for an initial price of $6.99, with later updates released for free. This edition is no longer supported or available for purchase and is not compatible with any servers still running the game.

Minecraft Pocket Edition has been discontinued and is no longer available on the Microsoft Store. You can continue to play original Minecraft. Pocket Edition if you already have it downloaded, although future updates are no longer planned for Windows 10 Mobile devices, including bug fixes or software updates for new devices. Microsoft has said that it will continue to update Minecraft. Pocket Edition across other platforms like Android and iOS.

14. Minecraft for Nintendo Switch

15. Minecraft New Nintendo 3DS Edition

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks and going on adventures. Build anything you can imagine with unlimited resources in Creative mode, or go on grand expeditions in Survival, journeying across mysterious lands and into the depths of your own infinite worlds. Will you hide from monsters or craft tools, armor, and weapons to fight back?

16. Minecraft Nintendo 3DS Edition

Minecraft Nintendo 3DS Edition is only available on the New Nintendo 3DS, New Nintendo 3DS XL, and New Nintendo 2DS XL systems. If you have a system from the original 3DS family or the 2DS family you cannot play this edition. This edition was released on September 13, 2017.

17. Minecraft Pocket Edition on Amazon Kindle Fire Devices

It is important to note that there are a few Amazon devices not compatible with Minecraft PE. Most notably, the Amazon Fire Phone and the Amazon Echo Show, and Echo Spot do not support Minecraft PE.

18. Minecraft Pi Edition

Minecraft Pi Edition was created by Mojang and the Raspberry Pi Foundation to help teach kids how to use programming languages.

It is available for free but only runs on a Raspberry Pi computer. The game has been packaged in such a way that it includes a Python module that lets you control the Minecraft world.

The game itself is the same as the original Java edition of Minecraft with some slight changes. This includes being able to use the arrow keys to move your character around instead of WASD keys. You can also create your own game modes and make other modifications to the game with Python code.
